Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer. The Senior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, utilizing Object-Oriented Programming, Model-View-Controller architecture, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
Title: Senior Ruby on Rails developer (Permanent WFH)
Experience: 5+ years
Budget: up to up to 20LPA (fixed CTC)
Skills: Ruby on Rails, Payment Gateway Integration (Stripe, Razorpay, Paypal, etc.), AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Role & Responsibilities –
• Lead the creation, development, and implementation of critical system design changes, enhancements, and software projects
• Ensure timely execution of project deliverables
• Work with other engineers to ensure the system and product is consistent and aligned through all processes
• Improve product quality, performance, and security through substantial process improvements
• Follow development standards and promote best practices
• Perform code review sessions & suggest improvements or alternatives when appropriate.
Requirements & Qualifications –
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
– 5 years of software development experience with a strong Background in Ruby on Rails along with experience in Payment Gateway Integration (Stripe, Razorpay, Paypal, etc.).
– Proficient in writing SQL queries against a relational database
– Comfortable operating in a Linux environment
– Experience in REST and effective web services design
– Experience with version control systems, such as Git- Nice to have – Front-end development experience with Backbone.js and JavaScript
