Overview

• Marketing Technology Solutions (MarTS) group is building cutting edge technology solutions for Marketing teams, building sites and apps across multiple channels like web, mobile, IoT etc. Mastercard is looking for strong technical professional to be part of this exciting journey.
• This position is responsible for providing senior application development and design support within MarTS group. Specifically, this person will provide exceptional application development to all marketing projects.
• This is a career opportunity to be a Software Engineer || for providing global marketing solutions for one of the most well-known brands in the world. Passion, rigour, and drive are required.
• Provide high quality deliverables within the constraints of budget, scope and time.
• Design & develop high quality, secure software solutions as per technical requirements and design artifacts.

Role

• Hands-on engineer who brings considerable experience with Java, REST API and Jenkins, using Cloud technologies and Microservices.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Work closely with Product Owners to develop beautiful, usable UIs and creative visualizations.
• Works in an agile operating model, collaborating with other engineers, tech leads and other functions to deliver an exceptional user experience to our customers.
• Significant code development & code review.
• Provides support on activities such development environment management, establish required connectivity, provision developer access to various tools and resources.
• Understands the maintenance, operational and runtime characteristics of the platform software.

All About You
• You have experience on Java, REST API, Hybrid cloud environments, Jenkins, Spring, Oracle, GIT, Microservices, Messaging Framework
• You have experience working on Microservices and Cloud Native Architecture.
• Familiar with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT)
• You have experience delivering major pieces of functionality on time and on-budget
• Understands the use of basic design patterns (e.g., factory, adaptor, singleton, composite, observer, strategy, inversion of control)
• Understands requirement analysis being essential part of delivering value to our customers and partners and participate in elaboration, prioritization, and effort estimation
• Understands different SDLC practices (Waterfall/Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and the delivery situations they are used for
• Understands the basic engineering principles used in building and running mission critical software capabilities (security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture)
• Familiar with different application patterns to implement different types of business processes (e.g., APIs, event-driven-services, batch-services, web-applications, big data)
• Understands Continuous Integration (CI) and Delivery (CD) concepts, and capabilities to support automation, pipelines, virtualization, and containerization
• Has ability to write code (in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, Groovy) to build automation tasks that are repeatable and efficient
• Understands functional and non-functional testing types to elaborate and estimate test efforts
• You have good communication skills – both verbal and written – with strong relationship building, collaborative skills and organizational skills.

Education:

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
