Job Summary:
IXLY Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions leveraging modern data engineering tools and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric.
• Work extensively with Azure Synapse, Databricks, and PySpark for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
• Implement data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Optimize data storage and processing performance across Fabric and Synapse environments.
• Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data transformation and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows for reliability and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric – must have implemented or worked on real-time Fabric projects.
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and PySpark.
• Solid expertise in SQL for querying, optimization, and data manipulation.
• Experience in building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and Power BI integration.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions.
• Exposure to Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management tools.
• Knowledge of Python scripting for automation and data manipulation.
