Role We are hiring an experienced Google Workspace Administrator/Architect to join our Bangalore IT team in a hybrid capacity. Reporting to the Director of Business Applications Support, this role is responsible for end-to-end administration, design, implementation, and support of our Google Workspace platform, with a focus on enhancing team productivity, collaboration, employee experience, and driving the strategic adoption of AI tools like Google Gemini company-wide. What You’ll Do (Role Expectations) Lead the design, implementation, and long-term strategic vision for enterprise Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Docs) and integrated generative AI capabilities (Google Gemini). Champion and drive the rollout, administration, governance, and organizational adoption of Google Gemini Enterprise capabilities across all Workspace applications. Develop automation scripts using Google Apps Script, Google Apps Manager (GAM), and APIs to optimize group management, administrative workflows, and AI-enabled automations. Configure SAML-based SSO and SCIM provisioning/deprovisioning for seamless, automated user lifecycle management and role-based access control. Implement robust security policies, compliance standards, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), AI governance frameworks, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to secure corporate data across endpoints. Resolve complex technical escalations, partner with Google/third-party vendors, deliver end-user training on Workspace and Gemini productivity enhancements, and analyze performance metrics to continuously improve collaboration.
