Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rewari for a Maintenance Engineer or Senior Maintenance Engineer. The role involves performing routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and related systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, coordinating repairs, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. The engineer will collaborate with production, safety, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with safety standards, and implement best practices in maintenance engineering. Senior-level responsibilities may also include guiding junior team members, supporting equipment upgrades, and contributing to long-term asset management strategies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for manufacturing machinery and plant utilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering skills, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills, including basic electrical fault diagnosis and coordination with electrical technicians or vendors.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment; prior experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards, industrial equipment, and maintenance management systems (CMMS) is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use standard maintenance tools, and coordinate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work in shifts if required.
