Role Description
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and safe operations. Daily tasks include conducting routine checks, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner. The role involves coordinating with production teams to plan maintenance activities, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. The engineer will also follow all safety guidelines and contribute to implementing best practices in maintenance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance to reduce failures and downtime.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
