Primary Role:
The DevOps Developer position will be in support of a Department of Energy client, with the goal of maintaining, and improving the current CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.
***Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline with Azure DevOps is an absolute must. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.***
The DevOps Developer will manage software development operations, implement engineering tools, and use their process knowledge to streamline updates or creation.
Key Responsibilities
• Ability to Design, Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines.
• Ability to manage Azure DevOps environment for optimal performance.
• Provide level 2 technical support.
• Execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improves processes companywide
• Ability to deploy database scripts.
• Ability to improve database deployment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience worked in Agile teams.
• Experience with writing technical DevOps Documentation.
• Some experience with Azure Cloud Migration, Monitoring, and Deployment to Cloud.
• Ability to integrate CI/CD pipeline with unit testing and static code inspection.
Experience
• 5-10+ years’ experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation
• Technical experience requirements include Azure, Azure GOV, Azure DevOps, Azure PowerShell, Bash, SonarQube, and Azure Automation, SQL
• Technical experience preferences include Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Splunk, Datadog, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Selenium, and Artifactory
Education & Certifications
• B.S. in Business/Technology-related field
