IOCL Recruitment 2021:Indian Oil Corporation Ltd invites online application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Quality Control Officers/Junior Engineering Assistant/Junior Material Assistant/Junior Quality Control Analyst/Junior Nursing Assistant. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/Diploma/10th/M.Sc qualifications in respective disciplines are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process will be based on the Personal Interview and Group Discussion/Group Task. Eligible candidates can apply in online on or before  23 October 2021 and then apply in IOCL (www.iocl.com) website. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate should have been awarded Master’s Degree in Chemistry/equivalent disciplines from recognized Indian Universities/Institutes. Equivalent disciplines in M.Sc. in Chemistry shall include Inorganic/Organic/Analytical/Physical/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry. Any other branch of Chemistry e.g. Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Toxicology, Geochemistry, Pharmacology, Food Technology etc. will not be considered towards eligibility. Minimum 02 Years of Cumulative Experience

Maximum Age Limit: 30 years

Age Relaxable by:

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • PwBD – 10 years
  • Domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 1.1.1980 & 31.12.1989 – 5 years

IOCL Recruitment Selection Process :
  • The selection process will comprise of Written Test (objective type consisting of two parts – General
    Aptitude and Discipline Knowledge), Group Discussion/Group Task and Personal Interview.
  • The candidates should secure minimum qualifying marks as mentioned below in each stage i.e. Written Test, GD/GT and Personal Interview, for consideration for next stage of selection process and finally adjudged suitable for selection.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production):

 

  • 3 years Diploma in Chemical / Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
  • Minimum one year of post qualification experience in operation (rotating shift) of Pump House, Fired Heater, Compressor, Distillation Column, Reactor, Heat exchanger etc. in a Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizer/ Heavy Chemical/ Gas Processing Industry.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U):

  • 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University & Boiler Competency Certificate (Ist Class or IInd Class). For candidates possessing Diploma/ Matric with ITI (Fitter) & holding Boiler Competency Certificate or B.Sc. with Boiler Apprenticeship, no further experience shall be required.
  • For candidates possessing the Diploma: minimum one year post qualification experience in operation of Industrial Boiler/HRSG/Thermal Power Station (DM plant/RO plant/Air compressors/ Steam Turbines/ Gas turbines cooling tower/RO Plant/ Air Compressor in Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Heavy Chemical/ Fertilizers/ Power Plants/ large industrial establishment.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV/Junior Engineering
Assistant-IV (P&UO&M):

  • 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/ University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions with minimum 01 year.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV  (Mechanical)/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV:

Junior Quality Control Analyst-IV:

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety):

  • Matric plus Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or Equivalent (Regular Course) from any other recognized institute, with Heavy Vehicle Driving License. Minimum one year of post qualification experience.

Junior Material Assistant – IV/ Junior Technical Assistant – IV:

  • 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engg. from recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions. Minimum one year of post qualification experience.

Junior Nursing Assistant:

  • 4 years B.Sc. IOCL Recruitment Selection Process :
  • The selection methodology will comprise Written Test and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT will be of qualifying nature. A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the written test to qualify for further consideration.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories considered against reserved positions.
  • Obtaining minimum qualifying marks in the written test does not confer any right or claim by the candidate for being shortlisted for SPPT or the final selection, as the same is based on candidate’s rank in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test, ratio applied, relative performance in respective categories, number of seats in respective Posts, Reservation position, candidates meeting the notified eligibility criteria & other parameters and documents found in order upon verification.
  • Short listed candidates, in the ratio of 1:2 (two candidates for one post, with due cognizance to number of reserved posts) subject to securing minimum qualifying marks in the written test, will be required to undergo a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT).
