Business Analyst

Business Systems Analyst will act as a liaison between business units and technology departments, providing basic data analysis and analytical support related to projects and focus areas. BSAs will develop requirement documents, business cases and business plans.

Gather business requirements and test cases. Coordinate and document for corporate projects

Process development and documentation for new business process or functionality. Facilitate business process audits.

Documents key work flows within the assigned business department

Recommend and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a departments business systems, processes and products

Performs analysis of projects of varying sizes

Leads requirements management and change management processes

Develops innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems

Writes use cases as part of the requirements document

Suggested Experience

Bachelors or Masters, or years of relevant work experience

Experience working in claims, system analytics, benefit management, or health plan industry

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create strong relationships with business partners

Strong technical skills including SQL, MS Project, Visio, Office Suite

Experience creating business requirements and end-user documentation

Experience with project tracking and reporting systems
