About the role: As a Business Operations Specialist, you will support the coordination of our invited guest keynotes and case study speakers at Gartner Conferences. You will provide operational support and analysis to the Event Sales team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, reviewing contracts, tracking key metrics, data analysis, new hire onboarding, and process improvement.What you’ll do: Business reportingUnderstand team initiatives to provide key analysis to VP, Event Sales Operations, and identify sales trends.Analyzes data to identify sales trends or processes and make recommendations to improve AE productivity or increase efficiency in processes.Maintain current and accurate pricing and inventory in ESM.Maintain monthly goal charts.Accurately tracks on-site renewals at events.Create contracts globally pre-event.This role is integral to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Gartner Speaker and Sourcing Management team.Manage daily processes in the procurement system, process invoices, and assist in vendor management.Manage budget tracking and auditing.Assist the External Speaker Management team in the collection and management of speaker promotional materials.Systems, database, and spreadsheet managementSupport our customer-facing inbox.Define and communicate sales processes, operational updates, and best practices within the region.Partner with lines of business to help drive education and productivity.Manage month- and quarter-end processes, ensuring all business is transacted and accurate.Review sales order booking process and Events Manager tool and Client Connect requirements.Build a comprehensive understanding of Client Connect, Events Manager Tool, and reporting, providing metric trending and adoption.Manage the MEA client list and ensure the team knows when new MEAs are required.
