As an Automation Tester – SDET, you will be a key contributor to our software
quality assurance efforts. Your expertise in automated testing will be
instrumental in maintaining the reliability and performance of our web-based and
API-based applications. Working closely with development teams, you will design
and execute comprehensive test strategies to identify and resolve issues,
ensuring our software meets the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts using C# for web and
API testing.
* Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and
design effective test plans.
* Execute automated tests to identify and report issues, ensuring timely
resolution.
* Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to adapt to changing
project needs.
* Perform manual testing when necessary to validate specific scenarios or edge
cases.
* Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and
test reports.
* Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best
practices.
* Provide timely and accurate feedback to development teams on test results and
identified issues.
* Ensure test coverage for all critical areas of the software, including
functionality, performance, and security.
* Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure a seamless testing
process and maintain high-quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation
testing.
* Proficiency in C# programming language for test automation.
* Experience in testing web-based and API-based applications.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing
methodologies.
* Familiarity with banking and credit card platforms is a must.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing frameworks.
