Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Engineering Design software, stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam).
- Experience in calculating earthwork quantities, establishing plan and profiles for roadways and pipelines, and determining quantities for pavement, pipe, drainage structures, erosion control, rock, open channels, and fencing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to project planning and resource allocation.
- Compile and analyze site data including geographic location, topography, access, utilities, soil types, subsurface conditions, environmental status, drainage, zoning, and regulations to assess cost, constructability, and scheduling.
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software, including 2D and 3D models of infrastructure components.
- Prepare site improvement plans, specifications, drainage reports, and cost estimates for land development, ensuring compliance with customer RFPs and coordination with project managers.
- Review civil engineering codes and standards for compliance and prepare documentation for client and regulatory review.
Tool Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam).
