Frontend Engineer

Insight Health is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to build and maintain intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our healthcare applications. You will be a key contributor to our mission of improving healthcare outcomes through technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript.

• Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.

• Optimize components for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS.

• Experience with modern frontend development tools like Vite, Storybook, and Emotion.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JSON Web Token).

• Experience with real-time communication technologies like WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and Long Polling.

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.

• Strong understanding of backend technologies.

• Familiarity with AI engineering.

• High agency and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Ant Design.

• Experience with data visualization libraries.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Contributions to open-source projects.
