Role: Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Fairfax, VA

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance Required (TS/SCI and Polygraph holders encouraged to apply)

Compensation: $130,000 – $220,000 Base Salary + 50% Additional Employer-Funded Compensation

Total Package Value: Up to $330,000

The Opportunity

We’re supporting a highly respected technology organization delivering advanced solutions across the US Intelligence and National Security community.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Full Stack Engineer to a team responsible for building and enhancing cloud-native applications supporting critical mission requirements. You’ll work within an Agile development environment, helping design, develop and deploy modern applications using containerized technologies and cloud-native architectures.

This is an opportunity to work on challenging, large-scale systems while leveraging modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployments.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Developing and enhancing cloud-native applications and microservices
• Building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Deploying and supporting containerized applications within Kubernetes environments
• Working within Agile development teams using modern CI/CD methodologies
• Designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
• Collaborating with engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Supporting the ongoing evolution of cloud-based application platforms

What We’re Looking For
• Experience developing applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
• Experience building and supporting microservices-based architectures
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms
• Experience working within Agile software development environments
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

Desirable Experience
• React, Vue.js, Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
• Spring Framework, Hibernate or JPA
• RESTful API design and development
• Kafka, RabbitMQ or other messaging technologies
• ETL or Big Data application development
• MySQL, PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch
• Cloud-native application development and architecture

Applicants must hold an active Top Secret Clearance or higher. Candidates with TS/SCI or existing Polygraph clearances are strongly encouraged to apply.
