📝 Rquirements:
– We need 3–5 years of application development experience, including hands-on work with ArcGIS Experience Builder.
– We require proficiency with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, or the ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
– We are looking for strong JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS skills.
– Experience with ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, including web maps and feature or map services, is required.
– The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance is required.
– You must be able to work on site in the Washington, DC area and have strong problem-solving skills.
– A bachelors degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.
– We prefer candidates with Experience Builder Developer Edition and Jimu framework experience.
– Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, REST APIs, Git, and Agile/Scrum delivery is preferred.
– Prior federal or DHS program experience and an active or recent Public Trust are preferred.
– Esri technical certifications are a plus.
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
– We develop, configure, and tailor web applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder through both low-code setup and custom development.
– We build custom widgets, themes, and templates with React, TypeScript, and the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
– We integrate applications with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, working with web maps, feature services, and REST or geospatial APIs.
– We collaborate with GIS analysts, cartographers, and system architects to translate mission needs into responsive, functional applications.
– We troubleshoot, test, and improve application performance, usability, and security to meet federal standards.
– We support deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of delivered applications.
