ML Engineer – Stealth Healthcare AI Startup

We’re building an AI-powered platform that helps commercial teams in the medical device industry make smarter pricing and deal decisions. Pre-seed startup working with major MedTech companies.

Looking for a founding ML engineer to shape the core intelligence layer—explainable models, sparse healthcare data, real-time decision support.

What you’ll work on:
• Models that recommend pricing strategies and deal structures
• Explainable AI that commercial teams actually trust
• Scoring and risk frameworks for complex healthcare contracts

What we’re looking for:
• 3 years experience in ML/statistical modeling
• Strong Python skills; experience with modern ML tooling (PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar)
• Experience deploying models to production (not just notebooks)
• Familiarity with cloud ML infrastructure (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, or similar)
• Experience with messy, real-world data (not just clean benchmark datasets)
• Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage pace
• Customer-facing ability—you’ll be in conversations with MedTech companies
• Potential to build and lead a team as we grow

Nice to have:
• Startup or early-stage experience
• Healthcare, pricing, or multi-tenant SaaS background
