- Performance Test Engineer [1 – 3 years] Engineering – India Bangalore, India Req.Num. 24643 Hungry, Humble, Honest, with a Heart. The Opportunity Calm is a product that enables application lifecycle management (ie, deployment, upgrades, scale-in, scale-out, DR, etc.) for applications deployed in any public (ex AWS, GCP) or private (ex VMWare, Nutanix) cloud. Calm empowers developers, IT admins, and DevOps engineers to streamline their technical operations, extend applications over multiple clouds and centralize control of operations. Your Role As a Performance Test Engineer, your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of software we create. You will be benchmarking Nutanix products from performance and scale perspective, and making sure that they meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements. A keen ability to stress the system to its limits is essential to success in this role. We are looking for professionals who have experience with testing and benchmarking software products on performance and scalability preferably in a digital and cloud-focused environment. Build a performance test automation tool framework and evolve a performance test tool. Define monitoring and Logging strategy and implement in the framework and enable ease of debugging. Understand business use cases and Identify load and scale testing scenarios. Prepare scripts and executions using scripting tools (Locust, JMeter). Test API and UI performance of new or updated APIs/UI in the release cycle. Build and configure test systems and environments. Determines how to meet growing capacity requirements while ensuring reliability within the platform. Designs and maintains tools for reporting on performance metrics. (InfluxDB, Grafana) Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins. Report Performance measuring metrics on time with due diligence. Use the impact and the meaning of the work to hook the job seeker. What you’ll bring You have Strong experience with performance testing & Load testing on any platform. You have an overall 1-3 years experience with relevant hands on work experience in load, capacity and stress testing web applications. Experience with tuning, testing, benchmarking and troubleshooting software configurations and an understanding of multi-tiered/Service Oriented architectures and how each component/layer affects performance Experience with using Locust/JMeter for performance testing with experience in Web/HTTP. Excellent understanding of programming languages such as Python, Go. You have Bachelors / Masters degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology /MCA. Good interpersonal communication and team skills required to operate as a contributing member of teams that deliver quality services. Scripting Experience on Locust Tool using Python Programming. Knowledge of open-source profiling tools like Jaeger or New Relic. Experience with cloud-based applications.
