PHP Web Developer (1-3 years),Capsicum Mediaworks

The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our company’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. We’re looking out for an PHP Web Developer to help scale our agency with the following responsibilities: Working knowledge in WordPress. Grasp of HOOKS concepts in WordPress. Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git. Deep expertise and hands on experience with programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s. Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc …) is needed to be successful in this position. Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to eCommerce applications. Good understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards. Experience in updating/upgrading/maintaining client’s websites. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an agency primarily working Custom PHP, WordPress & WooCommerce Websites. Advanced computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications – Excel & Word. Organized and goal-oriented. Needs to be able to work with colleagues across functions without supervision. Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations. Demonstrated high attention to detail. Good English Communication skills, Verbal and written.
