As a Senior Software Engineer – Data Management at Capital One Software, you will:
– Help build innovative products and solutions for problems in the Data Management domain
– Maintain knowledge on industry innovations, trends and practices to curate a continual stream of incubated projects and create rapid product prototypes
Qualifications Required:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
– At least 5 years of professional software development experience
– At least 2 years of experience in building software solutions to problems in one of the Data Management areas listed below:
– Data Catalog OR Metadata Store
– Access Control OR Policy Enforcement
– Data Governance
– Data Lineage
– Data Monitoring and Alerting
– Data Scanning and Protection
– At least 2 years of experience in building software using at least 1 of the following: Golang, Java, Python, Rust, C++
– At least 2 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
– 7+ years of professional software development experience
– 4+ years of Software development experience in a commercial Data Management product that is being built from the ground up
– 4+ years of Work Experience in supporting a commercial Data Management product in the cloud with Enterprise clients
