Description

The Project Manager will report directly into the Director of Manufacturing and be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address issues as they arise.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.

Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Masters is a plus)
  • 7+ years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role
  • Engineering from project concept through implementation
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in the consumer goods manufacturing industry is highly preferred
  • Continuous improvement and lean six sigma experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
