Description
The Project Manager will report directly into the Director of Manufacturing and be responsible for:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and implement project plans, including defining project goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address issues as they arise.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.

Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Masters is a plus)
- 7+ years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role
- Engineering from project concept through implementation
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in the consumer goods manufacturing industry is highly preferred
- Continuous improvement and lean six sigma experience
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
