Remote Junior Software Engineer Job at Emergency University in Baltimore

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Remote Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team.
As a member of our development team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our online training platform.
This is a full-time, remote position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain our online training platform
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Keep up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Continuously improve development processes and practices
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in software development
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g.
Java, Python, C++)
• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
