Job Type: 1-Year Contract
Location: Remote (U.S. – Central or Eastern Time Zone)
Start Date: 4/20/26
Pay Rate: $47/hr (W2)

Overview

We are seeking a Healthcare Interface Developer to help build foundational healthcare data exchange between hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and public health systems. This is a hands-on role focused on Rhapsody Integration Engine, HL7, and FHIR, supporting early-stage data modernization and interoperability initiatives. The work directly supports public health reporting and improved patient care outcomes.

What You Will Do
• Build and support healthcare interfaces using Rhapsody Integration Engine
• Develop interfaces using HL7 v2.x, CDA, and FHIR APIs
• Configure channels, routing logic, and message transformations
• Troubleshoot message parsing, routing, and data integrity issues
• Support public health reporting interfaces such as ELR, eCR, and immunizations
• Assist with early cloud migration efforts for Rhapsody environments
• Collaborate with clinical informatics, IT teams, and public health stakeholders

What We Are Looking For
• Rhapsody Integration Engine Professional Certification (required)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine
• 2+ years of healthcare interface development using HL7 v2.x, CDA, and/or FHIR
• Strong healthcare interoperability troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting healthcare or public health systems
