Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software for automotive infotainment systems, focusing on HMI, multimedia, and connectivity features. Implement software solutions using C++, Java, or other relevant programming languages for embedded Linux or Android Automotive platforms. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, hardware engineers, and system architects to translate requirements into functional software. Develop and integrate software components, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to coding standards. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Optimize software performance for responsiveness, stability, and resource efficiency within the automotive environment. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to architectural decisions and the overall technical roadmap for infotainment systems. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 4 years focused on automotive infotainment or embedded systems. Proficiency in C++ and/or Java, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with embedded Linux, Android Automotive, or similar real-time operating systems. Familiarity with HMI development frameworks and tools. Knowledge of multimedia frameworks (e.g., GStreamer), connectivity protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and automotive standards is a plus. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build systems. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
