Senior Back-End Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team building enterprise SaaS applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex backend systems, modernizing legacy applications, and contributing to architectural decisions while delivering high-quality software.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to build scalable solutions and help drive modernization efforts across the platform.

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET and C#
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, maintainable solutions
• Modernize legacy applications using industry best practices and incremental migration strategies
• Participate in code reviews and promote high-quality engineering standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
• Write unit tests and contribute to improving development processes
• Partner with product managers and technical stakeholders to deliver new features

Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#
• Experience building REST APIs and backend web applications
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture
• Experience working with legacy application modernization
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-native SaaS applications
• Experience modernizing enterprise applications using patterns such as the Strangler Fig pattern
• Passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Salary

130,000 – 150,000 per year
