Description
The Senior Firmware Engineer / Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for specifying, implementing, optimizing and validating firmware for new types of high-performance scientific instruments and enhancing existing instruments for the organization.
Profile
The successful Firmware Engineer / Embedded Software Engineer candidate will have:
– Extensive experience in embedded systems design with modern microcontrollers
– Skilled in C, data structures, and programming concepts from driver to application level
– Understanding of scientific instrumentation concepts
Preferred experience
– Experience with Renesas (RX series) microprocessors, including FIT modules, and the DTC controller is a plus
– Experience with Eclipse IDE is a plus
– Experience with Qt and embedded Linux is a plus
Job Offer
Compensation details include:
- A fantastic base salary depending on experience
- 17 days PTO (rising to 22 and then 27 days depending on tenure!)
