Job Description

ou will to oversee our IT strategy, infrastructure, and digital transformation.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our IT systems leveraging MS365 (NGO version) and Odoo Community Edition ERP as its core systems, and we are planning to integrate AI-driven applications, ensuring integration between tools, and guiding the development of AI-enabled solutions that support coaching, financing, and monitoring of entrepreneurs.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

• IT Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and oversee the organization’s IT roadmap aligned with our mission and growth strategy.

• Define policies and best practices for data security, privacy, and governance.

• Lead the digital transformation with a strong focus on AI-driven process optimization.

• Foster a culture of innovation and digital literacy across the organization.

• Systems Management

• Oversee and optimize our MS365 (NGO edition) setup for communication, collaboration, and document management.

• Manage and extend Odoo Community Edition to streamline core processes (finance, HR, project management, microcredit workflows).

• Ensure seamless integration between tools, platforms, and AI systems.

• AI & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to implement AI applications in recruiting, coaching, financing, and monitoring.

• Evaluate and integrate affordable and sustainable AI solutions.

• Build workflows that reduce manual tasks and improve decision-making through automation.

• Compliance & Standards

• Develop and implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with relevant elements of the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards.

• Establish cloud governance practices to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant use of cloud resources.

• Build and oversee cybersecurity measures tailored to low-budget and no-cost tools that safeguard organizational data.

• Implement software asset management processes (SAM) to track, control, and optimize IT resources.

• Prepare IT infrastructure and processes to meet contract compliance requirements of grant authorities and partnership agreements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Background & Experience

• Proven leadership in IT management, digital transformation, in a Senior IT or CIO role (experience in NGOs, startups, or social enterprises is a plus).

• Solid knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Odoo Community).

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration tools.

• Experience implementing or managing AI applications in business processes.

• Technical Competencies

• ERP customization, system integration, and open-source IT solutions.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and IT infrastructure management.

• Understanding of IT security, compliance, and data protection.

• Soft Skills

• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in resource-constrained environments.

• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Passion for social impact, entrepreneurship, and community development.
