Senior Production Engineer

Location: Faridabad, Haryana

Job type: Full-time, on-site

Annual CTC: ₹20,00,000 (₹20 LPA)

Experience: Minimum 5 years in machining or precision component manufacturing

AA Industries manufactures precision fan shafts for leading fan brands and OEMs. We are hiring an experienced engineer to take ownership of manufacturing improvements, increase production efficiency, and reduce rejection rates.

Responsibilities

• Improve production capacity, machine utilisation, and manufacturing consistency.
• Identify bottlenecks across drilling, turning, grooving, tapping, slotting, and finishing operations.
• Investigate rejections and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
• Optimise cutting tools, machining parameters, jigs, and fixtures.
• Establish SOPs, inspection checkpoints, and production reporting systems.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to reduce downtime.
• Evaluate new machinery and lead installation, trials, and commissioning.
• Train operators and supervisors on process standards and safe machine operation.
• Track output, rejection rates, downtime, tool life, and manufacturing costs.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proven examples of improving output, reducing defects, or lowering manufacturing costs.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and precision measurement.
• Practical knowledge of conventional machining, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Ability to lead improvements directly on the shop floor.
• Working knowledge of Excel and production data analysis.
• Experience in shaft manufacturing or high-volume precision components preferred.
