Job Title: Software Engineer – Pega & Kafka Integration
Location: Pune/Gurgaon (Pune preferred)
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: 7 AM and 4 PM/2 PM- 11 PM (weekly off)
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in Pega Platform and Apache Kafka to build and maintain real-time data streaming applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise workflow automation and high-throughput messaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement seamless integrations between Pega applications and Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Develop and maintain Pega components such as data sets, data flows, and queue processors to interact with Kafka topics.
• Configure and manage Kafka connection instances within the Pega Platform.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support, including troubleshooting and resolving Kafka-Pega integration issues.
Required Skills & Experience
• Pega: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, including case management, flows, activities, and integrations.
• Kafka: Practical experience with Kafka architecture—topics, producers, consumers, and stream processing.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to resolving complex integration challenges.
