Group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the ballistic missile defense system. This system is currently being developed to defend the United States, deployed forces, and allies from ballistic missile attacks. This group performs detailed system and component engineering, flight and ground test analysis, and advanced capability development in collaboration with the contractors and government program offices that are building the missile defense elements and components. The group has a need for an experienced software engineer to support a Missile Defense Agency (MDA)-sponsored program. – At least 5 years of software development experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, MATLAB, Java, Python and C/C++.
– Experience working with configuration and control packages to maintain software baselines.
– Must possess an active secret security clearance Skills preferred:
– The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of basic radar functions and general radar recording methodologies. This includes radar tracking and signal processing concepts such as ballistic/Keplerian motion, pulse compression, and Coherent processing.
– Experience with DevSecOps and developing in a secure environment a plus
– Experience with developing for operational platforms a plus
– Experience with WebServices and Net Centricity a plus
– Familiarity with Solaris and Fortran a plus
