For more details: https://www.rentokil-pestcontrolindia.com About the Role: The Software Tester is responsible for development and deployment of the software as per the business requirement and to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. The person will report to the Chief Information Officer- IT. The person will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves working with the possible stakeholders at branches across India. Job Responsibilities: The person will be responsible for finding bugs and issues within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. He should be capable of designing test suites and should have the ability to understand usability issues. The person should have sound knowledge of software test design and test execution methodologies. Competencies (Skills essential to the role): Good understanding of the software development process Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail Able to use own initiative Must be able to continuously learn new skills to keep abreast of industry trends The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Educational Qualification / Other Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) in a related area and at least 1 years of hands-on software testing in commercial environment such as TCS, Wipro etc OR Prior experience as Associate consultant who have handled at least 200 people on payroll Experience with test automation frameworks. Strong understanding of languages, such as SQL, as well as programming languages like PHP or Java.
