Student Recruitment Manager
The University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering (SSoE) Graduate Recruitment Team seeks a Manager that will contribute to best in class customer experience specifically by providing event and recruitment support directly related to marketing Swanson School and Department graduate programs. This position will assist the Swanson School’s Director of Graduate Recruitment and Enrollment Marketing to advance the graduate mission of the SSoE. This position requires a curious and dynamic individual with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in writing and content generation, to contribute relevant and meaningful content for digital and print marketing collateral, is preferred. The role will also include event planning/coordination and public speaking as part of job-related travel. The person hired for this position will be instrumental in providing dedicated and unique Department-level support in recruiting new PhD, MS, Online, and Graduate Certificate students. Previous experience in recruiting graduate students to a University or campus recruiting of students for corporate employers is viewed as a plus.
A successful hire for this position will need strong critical thinking and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team. Additionally, the person in this role should be prepared to market the strengths and discuss the details of Swanson School of Engineering’s Graduate Programs – admission process, stats and facts, deadlines, research vs. professional tracks – in order to succeed.
Job Summary
Manages the day-to-day operations of undergraduate and/or graduate student recruitment. Develops and implements recruitment marketing efforts. Analyzes data to evaluate efforts, prepares reports, and makes recommendations.
