RBR-Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to support one of our customers in Maryland. REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a system/software security engineer
Proven experience in agile system/software development
Software development experience in one of the following core languages: Java, Javascript, C/C++, Go, Rust, Python
Experience with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, and Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols
Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques.
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
14 years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 additional years SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities, and Remediation
Experience profiling open standards ( IETF, W3C, etc. ) for specific security requirement
Experience building and validating security mechanisms in software and systems
Familiarity with Security Software Development Lifecycles
Familiarity with FIPS and NIST 800 Series Security Requirements and Specifications
