PNB Recruitment 2022 – Punjab National Bank (PNB) invites application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Specialist Officers – Manager, Senior Manager. There are a total of 145 vacancies to be filled for this recruitment. Candidates with the education qualification of CA/ CFA/ Graduation/ MBA/ PGDM/ Master’s Degree are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Eligibility Criteria:

Manager (Risk) :
  • Chartered Accountant(CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Cost Management Accountant- CMA (ICWA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India OR
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute (USA). OR
  • Graduation Degree in any discipline with Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC and course completed through correspondence/part time/distance mode will not be considered) AND
  • Full time MBA in Finance or PGDM in Finance or equivalent Post Graduation degree with specialization in Finance /Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Services (PGDBF) by NIBM Pune/Masters in Financial Management (MFM)/ Masters in Finance and Control (MFC) (Minimum 2 Years course with Minimum 60% marks in aggregate) (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC and course completed through correspondence/part time /distance mode will not be considered
  • OR
  • Masters in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics with Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC and course completed through correspondence/part time /distance mode will not be considered)
  • OR
  • Certification in Financial Risk Management from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) (USA) OR
  • Professional Risk Management Certification from PRMIA Institute.
  • Post Qualification Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in Nationalized or Private Sector Bank/ PSU/ NBFC/Financial Institution as an officer in the area of Risk, Credit, Forex, Treasury and Finance.
Manager (Credit) :
  • Chartered Accountant(CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Cost Management Accountant- CMA (ICWA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India OR
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute (USA). OR
  • Graduation Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC and course completed through correspondence/part time/distance mode will not be considered) AND
  • Full time MBA in Finance or PGDM in Finance or equivalent Post Graduation degree with specialization in Finance (Minimum 2 Years course with Minimum 60% marks in aggregate) (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC and course completed through correspondence/part time/distance mode will not be considered)

Senior Manager (Treasury) :
  • Chartered Accountant(CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Cost Management Accountant- CMA (ICWA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India OR
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute (USA). OR
  • Graduation Degree in any discipline with Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC and course completed through correspondence/part time /distance mode will not be considered) AND
  • Full time MBA in Finance or PGDM in Finance or equivalent Post Graduation degree with specialization in Finance (Minimum 2 Years course with Minimum 60% marks in aggregate) (Institute should be recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC and course
    completed through correspondence/part time /distance mode will not be considered)
  • Post Qualification Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of banking experience in officer cadre with minimum 2 years as an officer in Treasury of a Nationalized or Private Sector Bank. OR Minimum 3 years experience of working with primary dealer.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2022) :

  • Manager (Risk) : Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 35 years
  • Manager (Credit) : Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 35 years
  • Senior Manager (Treasury) : Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 37 years

PNB Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

  • Selection will be through online test and interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview.
  • Candidates will be provisionally selected for issuing offer of appointment on the basis of aggregate scores obtained by them in Online Written Test Part-II i.e. Professional Knowledge Test and Interview.

Personal Interview : 

  • Candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Bank in Part-I, will be considered for shortlisting for Interview on the basis of merit prepared as per marks obtained by them in Part-II i.e. Professional Knowledge Test, provided they fulfil the other eligibility criteria with regard to Educational qualification and Post qualification work experience for the respective post.
  • Personal Interview will be of 25 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 45% i.e. 11.25 for SC/ST candidates & 50% i.e. 12.5 for other candidates.

Application Fees : 

  • SC/ST/PWBD category candidates : Rs 50/- per candidate(only intimation charges) +GST as applicable
  • All other candidates : Rs 850/- per candidate + GST as applicable
  • The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
