Job Description:
- Design engineer I position to support the growth of Regal’s PTS Rotating business.
- This position is responsible for analyzing and designing routine new components or products and improving existing components or products. Ideal candidate is one with a strong technical background and aptitude. The person will contribute to provide design support for orders/quotes as well as projects for the Rotating business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with designs or improves routine components and products with a solid understanding of design tools and analysis methods.
- Assists in solving routine problems with a solid aptitude for problem solving skills.
- Execute orders/offers for Rotating products like Gearboxes, Couplings..
- Work with global teams such as engineering, operations, sales.
- Support various projects such as NPDs, cost out/redesigns, simplification…
- Assist in developing routine design test plans from existing test protocols for routine products or components.
- Follow Regal Beloit Ethics and Safety Programs.
- Perform other assignments per business need.
