Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has officially opened registrations for the TCS National Qualifier Test (TCS NQT) 2026. TCS NQT is the single standardized entrance gateway for hiring fresh engineers into TCS Ninja (₹3.6–₹4.5 LPA), TCS Digital (₹7.5–₹9.0 LPA), and TCS Prime (₹9.0–₹11.5 LPA) engineering cadres.
Eligibility & Qualification Details:
- Target Passing Batches: 2026 Batch Graduates & Recent Freshers
- Degree Requirements: B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. / MCA / M.Sc from recognized universities
- Percentage Criteria: Minimum 60% across 10th, 12th, Diploma, and UG/PG semesters
- Salary Packages: ₹3.60 LPA (Ninja) | ₹7.50 LPA (Digital) | ₹11.50 LPA (Prime Cadre)
TCS NQT Exam Structure & Syllabus:
- Section 1: Foundation Section (Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, Verbal Ability) — 75 Minutes
- Section 2: Advanced Section (Advanced Quantitative Ability, Advanced Reasoning, Advanced Coding) — 90 Minutes
Preparation Tips & Recommended Subjects:
Master Dynamic Programming, Recursion, Time & Space Complexity, SQL queries, and DBMS normalization. High scorers in Advanced Coding get direct fast-track interviews for the TCS Prime engineering tier.
