Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Core Ruby Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. Knowledge of Java is a plus. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Ruby and Java programming languages, with a strong emphasis on backend development. With complex architecture with multiple programming languages You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop backend systems using Ruby(Ruby on Rails)and Java to meet project requirements and business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design and implement BFF/Micro Front ends for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Optimize and maintain existing backend codebase for coupling, performance and scalability.
• Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems through proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Implement data storage solutions using relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or discovered during testing phases.
• Document technical specifications, architecture designs, and implementation details for reference and future maintenance.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years Proven experience working as a backend developer with expertise in both Ruby and Java programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs / GraphQL Integrations Frameworks
• Experience with relational databases & NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, JUnit) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Circle CI).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka is plus
• Previous experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
